Snow and Paint

Yesterday we had a mix of snow and sleet. So its white outside but its not a fun white.  It goes crunch when you walk on it.  :)   We had gone to pick out paint the other day for the kitchen.  Picked out a sunflower yellow.  Its very pretty and we like it but. Bit But! It is too bright for the kitchen.  The whole room looks and glows yellow! haha So now it is to figure out a new color, buy a sample can and try again.  I hope that we can find one that we like without having to go through too many.  The sunflower we plan on using for another small room with less walls to paint.  Hopefully it will work out well and turn out the way we hope it does.   

The wedding day is approaching so the wedding plans and details are starting to come together and need to be worked on.  We also want to have the kitchen completed by the time of the wedding.  That is painted, back splash done, new counter and cabinets on side wall. and at least a new vent cover for over the stove.  I am so excited about getting things done in the kitchen and starting to see everything come together.  I am anxious to paint else where in the house but we are working on one room at a time.  I hope to get the bedroom done next. :) yey!!!
